Christmas Care Box
We are hoping to put 200+ ‘You are loved’ Christmas boxes together for four different age groups of Kiwi kids who need it most. We are aiming to fill these boxes with a mix of necessity items, such as soap, sanitary products, toothbrushes, socks, stationary, along with a toy, healthy snacks and words of encouragement for these children to feel loved and empowered.
85,00 children are living in severe poverty in New Zealand. In 2017, there were over 4,000 people lined up outside the Auckland City Mission, most of whom were single mothers collecting necessities and clothing for their children. A position no parent wants to be in.
We are hoping to gather enough products and monetary donations to meet (and hopefully exceed) our target, to help as many Kiwi kids as we possibly can.
